The trust is making a big difference to the school and the community and local people realize this, and there is a solid foundation on which to keep building. There is virtually no state funding for music education: the concert yesterday would never have happened without the trust's funding.

Rougham Hall security fence
The trustees have reluctantly decided to erect a security fence around the ruins of Rougham Hall. It will protect people from injury from falling masonary, protect the building from theft of building materials and prevent any further damages made by vandals. The fence is complete and is doing its job.

Parkland restoration
The outgrown Christmas trees plantation on the old tennis court in front of Rougham Hall has been removed as the first phase of parkland restoration. The site is destined to become a wildflower meadow with the seed being sown in Spring 2018.

Gatehouse project
The trustees had decided to undertake the restoration of the gatehouse, clock tower and stables of Rougham Hall. Respected architect, Roger Balmer, has been appointed to head up the project and survey work has already begun. Scaffolding is being used to support teh gatehouse wall and an old water tank has been removed to help stabilise the structure.
